Mercury Racing Pro Max Propellers (new & used options)

There are quite a few ProMax propellers running on F2 ski race boats in Australia. All are seeing good all round pull, speed, driveability and durability.

Designed for high-performance OptiMax® Pro XS and 300XS, and Verado® Pro FourStroke outboards – features Mercury Racing® Pro E.T.® drag race blades combined with a custom through-hub exhaust tube.

The smaller propellers are good for social skiing and the larger props are super fast. Available in pro polished finish and lab ground finish. Propeller pitch sizing starts at 23″ and goes up in one inch increments to 32″.

This unique combination provides a 33 percent faster hole shot than the Pro E.T. and top-end speeds up to three mph faster.

The new blade shape design of the Pro Max propeller is super efficient to maximise top end speed, minimise slip, whilst also reducing the risk of blade failure in semi surfacing applications like the TrophyPlus propellers.

This propeller is a great all rounder for ski racing and powerboat racing in all conditions.

“The Bullet, benefiting with a high performance Torque Master gearcase, improved on both hole shot and top-end speeds,” said Glenn. “We did back-to-back tests comparing the Pro Max with like size Pro E.T.s as well as a variety of other props. The Pro Max outperformed everything on the ramp. We love it!,” Glenn Reynolds concluded.
